1. Ernesto is coming ashore in Florida. Forecasters warn the storm could bring 15 inches of rain. Residents have spent the day stocking up on food, gas and other supplies.
2. On the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, President Bush is telling the people of New Orleans that the government fell short of its responsibilities. The president says if there's a next time, Washington will deliver what he calls a better, more effective response.
3. There is new video of the crash site of the Kentucky Comair flight that went down shortly after takeoff Sunday. Federal officials are looking at data from flight recorders, the control tower and evidence from the crash scene.
4. Fifty thousand dollars in cash, laptop computers and wigs were found in the car of polygamous leader Warren Jeffs. Jeffs had been on the FBI's most wanted list. He's facing sexual misconduct charges in Utah and Arizona where he allegedly arranged for older men to marry underage girls.
