They say the victim, 16-year-old Emily Keyes, was shot in the back of the head trying to flee a gunman who allegedly sexually molested some of his student hostages. Just prior to her death, Emily text- messaged her family saying she loved them.
2. The police chief in Dallas says the Terrell Owens’ case is being reclassified as an accidental overdose. Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver was back on the field for practice with his team.
3. Fire crews are keeping a watch on some homes as a California wildfire moves through heavy brush. It's one of the largest and longest burning wildfires in California history.
4. It was a photo up-to-date for nine baby pandas at the Wolong Panda Center in China. They are getting ready for their public debut on October 1st. The panda is one of the world's rarest animals.
