Warren Jeffs has been convicted on two counts of accomplice to rape. A Utah jury says the polygamous sect leader is guilty for his role in arranging the marriage of a 14-year-old girl to her 19-year-old cousin. Jeffs faces life in prison.
Michael Vick is being indicted again for staging dogfights. This time the NFL quarterback is facing state charges. He has already pleaded guilty to federal dogfighting charges and has been suspended indefinitely from the National Football League.
Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had his say at the United Nations. He spoke to the UN General Assembly this afternoon, hours after President Bush was on the same stage. Bush used his speech to call on the world to help Afghanistan and Iraq.
Drivers in Italy are getting an up-close look at the dangers of anorexia. A group has put up this billboard showing a gaunt, naked woman next to this ad showcasing a model. Organizers say they hope the campaign would send a message to the fashion industry.
