Idaho Senator Larry Craig will have to wait as a judge considers his request to withdraw a guilty plea in an airport sex sting. The ruling will likely come after Craig’s deadline to resign his Senate seat at the end of this month.
Myanmar‘s junta says security forces opened fire on demonstrators who did not disperse, killing one. Dissident groups say at least five people died including monks. This is the government’s first acknowledgement force was used to suppress protests.
