1. Two homemade explosives were tossed into the back of the Mexican Consulate in New York. It caused a small blast that blew out some windows. No injuries reported in the early morning incident.
2. The San Diego Chargers will return home to play the Houston Texans Sunday. The game's date and time had been in question because Qualcomm Stadium was being used as a major evacuation center during the wildfires. At one point, more than 10, 000 displaced residents stayed at the stadium.
3. The International Space Station is a bit roomier. That's because astronauts attached a bus-sized addition Friday that increases the living and working area by more than 2, 500 cubic feet. The six-hour spacewalk is the first of five planned for Discovery's mission.
4. Check out this four-year-old boy swimming with the beluga whale. It's the latest extreme feat by the child athlete in China. While the stunts are grabbing the spotlight, they are also raising questions as to whether the pint-sized athlete's safety is at risk.
