1. The Supreme Court says it will decide whether the District of Columbia can ban handguns. It's a case that could produce the most thorough examination of the constitutional right to keep and bear arms in nearly 70 years.

3. Police say it may be a case of road rage gone to the extreme. A New York City cab driver was killed Tuesday morning after arguing with another driver. Police say the cab driver got out of his car to confront the other driver when that person ran him down with his vehicle.

It's a golden statue of Father Christmas and is said to be worth about 2 million dollars. It's the third consecutive year that the jewelers presented a special creation made out of gold just for Christmas.
