1.The State Department inspector general is investigating how the passport files of the three presidential candidates were breached. Officials say a number of unauthorized employees got their hands on the files. At least one candidate is calling for a congressional investigation.
2.The nation's only Hispanic governor is throwing his weight behind Democratic hopeful Barack Obama. Bill Richardson says the Illinois senator is a "once-in-a-lifetime leader" who, as president, can bring the nation together.
3.Residents in Missouri are trying to stay one step ahead of Mother Nature. They are filling sandbags and packing up belongings as swollen rivers and streams threaten to overtake homes and communities.
4.Western Kentucky has pulled off a dramatic upset in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The 12th-seed Hilltoppers hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to defeat Drake. Elsewhere, Stephen Curry netted 40 points to lead Davidson over higher seed Gonzaga.
