1. Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe was sworn in for a sixth term hours after he was declared the winner of Friday's run-off election. The opposition leader who dropped out of the race called it a useless exercise.
2. The Batman Ride at Six Flags Over Georgia remains closed the day after a teenager was killed. Park officials say the 17-year-old climbed two fences to retrieve his hat and was decapitated by the roller coaster.

5. try for: v. to try and get something you really want, such as a job, a prize, or a chance to study somewhere.
6. roller coaster: n. (娱乐设备)云霄飞车 A roller coaster is a small railway at a fair that goes up and down steep slopes fast and that people ride on for pleasure or excitement.
7. Six Flags Over Georgia:
Six Flags: Six Flags, Inc (commonly Six Flags) is one of the world's largest chain of amusement parks and theme parks based on quantity of properties. The company maintains 21 properties located throughout North America, including theme parks, water parks and family entertainment centers. In 2007, Six Flags properties hosted approximately 24.9 million guests, making it the fourth-most popular theme park company in the world.
Six Flags Over Georgia is a 230-acre theme park located west of Atlanta, in Austell, Georgia. Opened in 1967, it is the second park in the Six Flags chain, after the original opening in 1961 in Texas. | |||||||
