World champion Guo Yue paired with Li Xiaoxia Friday to make the quarterfinal of the women's doubles at the "Good Luck Beijing" ITTF ProTour Finals with breeze.
Guo/Li never looked troubled against Fukuoka Haruna/Tasei Mikie of Japan, winning 16-14, 11-2, 12-10, 11-9 in the match.
Guo/Li had dominated the whole match with excellent performance since the very beginning as they opened the first set in style, taking the upper hand 5-1 against the Japanese pair.
The Japanese struggled to find their rhythm in the first set as they overcame the frustrating start to tie 7-all before losing 14-16.
After the first set, it seemed easier for the world champions as they won the following three sets in a row to make the next round.
