The African American Women's Giving Circle is an unusual philanthropic organization. Professional black women pool their donations and actively participate in the selection of recipients. Collectively they have benefited non-profit organizations, like Satira Streeter's group of psychologists who work for the well being of women and girls. Producer Zulima Palacio has prepared this story. VOA's Carol Pearson narrates.

Satira Streeter meets psychologist Kia Millswith to discuss treatments and activity groups for girls at nearby schools
